Family tiers, wages, student debt, names, life expectancy, state birth shares, Bitcoin, and some early data are approximated. A home is fractional equity without a mortgage. Before 1976 it uses a national proxy.

Years after 2025 use seeded historical mean/volatility simulations with game limits. They are not forecasts. Top N% is the rounded share of 240 simulated lives born in your year with net worth at least yours (minimum 1%). It never ranks real Americans.

“340 Million” is a rounded title, not the sampling population. Years 1950–2005 are weighted by recorded births. Names use historical birth-record categories; opportunities are the same for everyone. Every story reaches at least 60.
